These terms govern use of Asgard Alaska’s internal operations application (the “App”), the software Asgard Alaska Incorporated (“Asgard Alaska”, “we”, “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Anchorage, Alaska, uses to manage its own online presence through Google services. They do not govern the public website asgardalaska.org, which is covered by our Privacy Policy.
Who may use the App
The App is for internal use only. It is used by Asgard Alaska staff and the organization’s authorized operations assistant to manage accounts that Asgard Alaska owns. It is not offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and no one outside Asgard Alaska is authorized to connect an account to it.
What the App does
With the organization’s own authorization, the App connects to Google services Asgard Alaska uses, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Google Merchant Center and the organization’s own Gmail mailbox. It reads performance and account information, prepares reports and recommendations for Asgard Alaska’s staff, and makes changes to those accounts only as authorized by Asgard Alaska.
Acceptable use
- Use the App only for Asgard Alaska business and only with accounts Asgard Alaska owns or is authorized to manage.
- Do not use the App to access another person’s or organization’s data.
- Follow the terms and policies of each connected service, including the Google APIs Terms of Service and the Google Ads program policies.
Google services
Access to Google services through the App is also subject to Google’s own terms, including the Google APIs Terms of Service. How the App handles information from Google services is described in our App Privacy Policy.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” for Asgard Alaska’s internal use, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Asgard Alaska is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App.
