This policy explains how Asgard Alaska Incorporated (“Asgard Alaska”, “we”, “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Anchorage, Alaska, handles information in its internal operations application (the “App”). The App is used only by Asgard Alaska staff and its authorized operations assistant to manage the organization’s own Google accounts. For the public website, see our main Privacy Policy.
Information the App accesses
When an authorized Asgard Alaska account signs in, the App may access, for Asgard Alaska’s own accounts only:
- Google Ads: campaigns, ads, keywords, search-term and performance reports, account settings and notifications.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: website traffic reports and tag configuration.
- Google Search Console: search queries and page performance for asgardalaska.org.
- Google Business Profile, YouTube and Google Merchant Center: the organization’s listing, channel and product information and their performance.
- Gmail (read-only): messages in the organization’s own operations mailbox, such as notifications from Google Ads.
- Basic account identity (email address) to confirm which organizational account is signed in.
How we use it
Only to operate and improve Asgard Alaska’s own advertising, website and online presence: monitoring account health, preparing reports and recommendations for our staff, and making changes that Asgard Alaska authorizes. We do not use this information for any other purpose.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent or trade information obtained through Google APIs.
- We never use it for advertising to individuals, for credit or lending decisions, or to build profiles of people.
- We never share it with third parties, except the service providers that run our own systems, or when the law requires it.
- We do not use Gmail data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The App’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage, security and retention
Access credentials and reports are stored on systems controlled by Asgard Alaska, protected by access restrictions and encrypted backups. Reports and records are kept only as long as they are useful for managing our accounts. An authorized account can revoke the App’s access at any time from its Google Account security settings, at which point the App stops accessing that account.
