Help us Bring History to Life

Asgard Alaska is an immersive, open-air museum with an emphasis on Norse culture and medieval societies. We preserve the history and culture of those who came before us to honor them and make sure their stories are never forgotten.

With your help, we will build a permanent historic Norse settlement and campground in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska. We do this to fulfill our mission which is to inspire, educate, and entertain Alaskans in the history-centric environments we create. Most donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Did you know that Museums strengthen Communities?

Museums are regarded by the American public as highly trustworthy, and considered to be much more so than scientists, corporations, social media and the government.

Like Asgard Alaska, museums are committed to ensuring that people from all walks of life are welcomed and accepted. Nearly all of them offer free or reduced admission days.

More people visit museums, science scenters, zoos, aquariums, and historic sites and houses than attend professional sporting events each year.

Museums help teach science, math, art, literacy, history, government, and civics in ways that present topics much more concretely than textbooks could ever achieve.

We bring history to life.

Here are just a few of the ideas behind our inspiration
