What We Do

At Asgard Alaska, we want to create a unique and inclusive space where individuals come together to share their love for history, participate in community-building activities, and experience the beauty of Alaska’s wilderness. Our core values of diversity and inclusiveness extend to all groups and individuals, and we welcome everyone to participate in our activities. Are you ready to explore our dream?

The Heart of Our Community: A Historic Viking Longhouse

The centerpiece of our shared space will be a historic Viking longhouse, where visitors can gather for events and fellowship. This longhouse will serve as a hub for cultural exhibits, historic art displays, and traditional trades, bringing the landscape to life. Visitors are also encouraged to participate in activities such as cooking, archery, blacksmithing, spinning, swordplay, festivals, and more. For those wishing to stay overnight, authentic turf houses and other historical lodgings will be available.
