We are excited to share with you the success of our fundraising efforts in 2022. With your help, we were able to raise a total of $11,958 in cash and in-kind donations to support our charitable purpose of preserving and promoting the rich history of the Vikings. The grand total raised in our land purchase fund since our founding is $63,531. This puts us well on our way to reaching the fundraising goal of $240,000 which will allow us to establish a permanent foothold in Alaska.
We received generous donations in 2022 from individuals and organizations who share our passion for preserving Viking history. The support from the community was truly inspiring. It demonstrated the importance of our mission to promote the rich cultural heritage of the Vikings. We remain as focused as ever on our fundraising goal. This will enable us to purchase land for our Viking museum and historical campground.
